A Pony!

The Lord has completely blessed us with a huge garden to grow veggies in! Such an answer to prayer for provision... : )

There is a lady at our church that has quite a few garden beds that are pretty big, and she offered one up to us! And not only that, but she has a beautiful horse, a cute little Shetland pony, and a HUGE backyard that the kids can run around and play in! Since our apartment doesn't even have a back porch, this is an enormous blessing!!!!!

Some of our Summer

I've totally been slacking. Sorry. You know how when you're consistently doing something, it's easy to continue, but once you stop for a little bit, it's so hard to get back into the routine...
A lot has happened since my last post. We've moved to a new place, which I absolutely love. There is such a peace when you know you're where God wants you to be.

Ava's turned into a little fish! She is always begging to go swimming, and she can do it all by herself (with the help of her lifejacket, of course ;)

This is a trail right by our new place that goes down to the river. It's so beautiful, it reminds me of when Mo and I would hike down to Snoqualmie Falls.

Ava has officially inherited the "camera psycho" gene! Passed on from Grandpa Gib to my mom, to me, and now to Ava... This is her first shot.

I found this dress in my parents storage room that was mine in the 2nd grade. I love that Ava can play dress up in it. Will you look at those sleeves though??? I don't think they get much puffier than that!

It's a bit of a brag-and-gag post (sorry, Lori!!!), but, that's pretty much what my blog is all about! Love you all!

It was so nice to have Strom over for a week, and Ava especially loved having someone new to play ponies with!

And a short video of My little man Gabe ( and Ava showing off all her owies). --Oh and sorry that it's sideways, didn't really realize you can't turn it. Oh well, it's not long enough to give your neck a cramp. Enjoy.

Paint

My Grandma & Grandpa Gulke came to visit, and brought Ava a Dora paint book, 2 of her favorite things - combined! Can it get any better??

We really enjoyed having them here, it's too bad all of our extended family live so far away, but nothing a road trip or plane ride can't fix...

So excited though for more family to be visiting in the next couple of weeks!

Kentucky Derby

These pictures pretty much sum Ava up to a "T".

I can't tell you how excited she was to be able to dress up in these pieces! It was pretty funny because her friend came out first in a sweet little ivory dress with an ivory boquet of flowers, then Ava comes running out like this, in every piece she could put on...
