Yesterday I was reading this article from Prophecy News Watch and was brought to tears... How someone can easily just throw away a human life because it doesn't meet your "standards" is beyond me.
 Today I was on Cerissa's blog (hold on, I was looking for a recipe, not a new updated post, I think we've all given up in that area ;) , blog-hopped to one that was on her list, then from there found Its Almost Naptime, where this was posted... It was everything that I would want to say, but since it's pretty obvious I don't have a way with words, God had her do it! ;)

All Things Moose

Fun facts: Alaska has the largest and highest number of moose (175,000),

(I have heard, but not verified) moose have 2 digestive systems, "summer"- for eating leaves & plants, and "winter"- twigs & branches.

And they TASTE fabulous!!!

We see them often in our parking lot, rummaging through the dumpster. and I don't think it will ever get old seeing them... They're these huge, powerful animals, that could easily just pounce on you!

I think I have officially given up any hope for the perfect family picture, you know the ones where everyone in the picture is smiling sweetly, the setting is ideal, and every other aspect is what you're envisioning... Oh well.

These were all taken by Ava. She pretty much captured what happens on a daily basis in this series of pictures:

1: Gabe crawls into our kitchen, with intense determination to do something he knows darn well he's not supposed to do

2: "Whaddya lookin at?" (Little did he know this would later be used as evidence against him...)

3: Checking to make sure the coast is clear (translation: make sure Momma isn't looking)

4: *angels singing*

5: He doesn't know what he's diggin around in there for, but whatever it is, it's good.

6: Momma comes before he can get anything into his mouth. DANGIT!!!

Gabe's First Birthday!

We had a few friends over to help us celebrate Little Man turning one!

The Cake  - Angel food cake with rainbow sherbet layers, and whipped cream frosting. Mmmmm. Thanks Pillsbury.com, and Cerissa for bringing it to my attention! 

Gabe got his own special cake because I think an extra chocolately chocolate cake makes for better photo opportunities!!  ; )
