I have not been very motivated for some reason to get on the blog and do a few posts lately. So after a loooong break, I'm hoping to start posting more consistently --at least for the time being.
Well, Easter was fun. As much as we try and teach Ava about how Jesus died on the cross and rose from the grave for us, I think at this age the Easter egg hunt and the goodies inside are what sticks in that little head of hers... Although I'm surprised by some of the things she says sometimes. I definitely don't underestimate the power of reading her Bible stories, praying with her, and just telling her about Jesus and how he loves us. --There's nothing like hearing a 2 year old pray to the God of the universe. It really does warm my heart.
